Melon de Bourgogne, steeped on its lees for 12 to 16 months in a concrete tank, gives it a deep, golden hue and a smooth, creamy texture you don't usually see in Muscadet wines. This contrasts with most lean, linear (and frequently bland and mass-produced) Muscadet wines. We adore the delicate fizz and floral, ripe peach and pear aromas that counteract the salty minerality.
