Fresh, electric white from western Georgia — a traditional Imeretian blend of two indigenous varieties, fermented in qvevri with nothing added. Crisp, saline, and completely its own thing.
Tsitska, Tsolikouri • Imereti / Terjola • Qvevri • Dry farmed
Gogita and Keto Makaridze farm indigenous Imeretian vines on dark red clay and limestone soils in Terjola — a village celebrated for producing some of Georgia's liveliest, most acidic whites. Five generations of winemaking, now bottled commercially for the first time in recent memory. Tsitska and Tsolikouri are the classic duo of western Georgia: Tsitska brings the electric acidity and citrus precision, Tsolikouri adds body and texture. Fermented together in qvevri with indigenous yeasts, 40-year-old vines, dry farmed, minimal sulphites only.
Lighter and more delicate than the tannic amber wines of Kakheti — this is Georgia's other voice.
