This Champagne originates from certified organic vineyards in Cuchery and Belval-sous-Chatillon, two Right-Bank villages in the Vallée de la Marne. The Pinot Meunier grapes thrive in these regions' silty, marly clay-limestone soils. The vineyards are adorned with traditional local walls called "Les Murgiers," constructed from river stones cleared for planting. Vinification occurs in aged small oak barrels, utilizing spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and undergoing malolactic fermentation. The minimal use of sulfur and low-to-no dosage contributes to the wine's broad and expressive character. Expect enticing aromas of dried fruit, white peach, and citrus flower, creating a rich and forward Champagne experience.
