Las Lomas Blanco is a thrilling organic white wine made from 65-year-old Verdejo vines, planted at 900 meters altitude in Castilla y León. Crafted by the innovative duo Elisa and Rubén of Bodega Malaparte, this wine breaks away from the typical explosive Verdejo style.
On the nose, it’s subtle and aromatic with notes of citrus, juicy pear, fresh herbs, and a clear mineral edge. On the palate, it’s concentrated and textured, thanks in part to brief skin contact before fermentation. Naturally vinified and aged partly in wooden barrels, it reveals a surprising richness—hints of butter and caramel round out the bright, zesty core.
This is a white wine with freshness and finesse, yet also warmth and depth. It doesn’t shout, but rather draws you in with every sip. Refreshing, complex, and utterly compelling.
