100% Merlot from Jas's own limestone-soil vineyard in Eckelsheim, hand-harvested and macerated for four weeks in stainless steel. No additions of any kind, zero sulphites. 300 bottles made.
Visually it's deep and dark. On the palate it's more approachable than you'd expect — fresh, fruit-driven, with a slightly savoury edge that keeps things interesting. Works at the table, works on the sofa with a record on. Serve lightly chilled if you want something more refreshing — Jas says so herself.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: lingonberry, dark bramble, light tobacco, subtle salami note
Palate: dark fruit, gentle earthiness, soft tannins
