Engrescada Orange 2023 is the result of three young winemaking families joining forces to revive Marina — a near-extinct Catalan variety with fewer than 10 hectares planted worldwide. Blended with Muscat and Xarel·lo, it’s a vibrant, energetic orange wine that bursts with personality and has quickly become a Chenin Chenin favourite.
Fermented naturally with skin contact and aged with minimal intervention, Engrescada shows the brightness, texture, and Mediterranean lift that define this new wave of Catalan winemaking.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: orange zest, peach skin, white flowers, fresh Mediterranean herbs
Palate: juicy stone fruit, tangerine, light grip, gentle bitterness, natural fizz
