Finca Mas Perdut's olive trees are old — the youngest around 80 years, the oldest approaching 200. Planted in the iron-rich, stony soils of Santa Oliva in the Baix Penedès, their deep-rooting root systems and low yields per tree produce olives with real concentration. Rebeca and Josep harvest by hand at the optimal moment of ripeness, pressing cold using only mechanical methods. No shortcuts, no additives.
The same philosophy that runs through the wines runs through this oil: respect the land, work with what it gives you, bottle it as honestly as possible.
