Kinkame 80 comes from the small, traditional Okamura Honke brewery and is made in a more old-school, pre-modern style. With minimal polishing, the rice shows clearly, bringing both intensity and depth.
Unpasteurised, unfiltered, and undiluted, this sake feels alive and textured. Sweetness upfront, almost candy-like, is balanced by a fresh acidity that keeps it from becoming heavy. A sake with presence, and definitely not a quiet one.
