Jordi Esteve works recovered old-vine parcels in Rabós d'Empordà on slate soils, and Garnacha Gris — known locally as Lledoner Roig — is one of the most expressive and endangered varieties he tends. Mas dels Fils is made with the same minimal-intervention approach that runs through everything at RIM: indigenous yeasts, skin contact for colour and texture, stainless steel, no additions, no filtration. The result is an amber wine with the aromatic lift and phenolic grip that Grenache Gris produces when handled with this kind of care.
