Macabeu de Vinyes Velles is a white wine made entirely from Macabeo grapes grown on 80-year-old vines. This small winery is located in the heart of the village of Nulles, in Alt Camp, Tarragona.
The vineyards are farmed organically with great care, in harmony with the surrounding environment. The vines grow in calcareous, loamy soils and are surrounded by forests, wild herbs, and a mix of hazelnut, almond, and olive trees.
The cooling breeze from the nearby Mediterranean Sea adds freshness to the grapes and helps shape the wine’s unique and vibrant character.
