A fiery and enigmatic field blend from La Senda, where old vines and ancient soils meet David Velasco’s wild vision. Har Megiddo — named after the biblical battleground — is a wine of intensity, harmony, and contrast.
The blend is unconventional: mostly red grapes like Mencía, Trousseau, Alicante Bouschet, and Gran Negro, with a twist of white grapes (Doña Blanca and Malvasía) co-fermented whole-cluster. Vinified naturally in open vats with native yeasts and aged in neutral barrels.
This is a wine of tension and brightness, with dark berries, smoky herbs, and wildflowers layered over a vibrant, mineral spine. Fresh and energetic, but with depth and structure that lingers long after the last sip.
