Les Terres Vagabondes 2022 by Le Vignoble du Pagure (Hugo Courvoisier) is a precise, mineral-driven white wine from the hills of the Vallée de la Loue in eastern France — luminous, tense, and full of quiet vitality.
Made entirely from Chardonnay grown on steep limestone slopes between 350 and 450 meters of altitude, the vineyards are farmed organically, and the cellar work follows a minimal-intervention philosophy. The grapes are gently pressed, fermented with native yeasts, and aged in old oak barrels without filtration.
In the glass, the wine shows a pale golden hue. Aromas of white peach, lime zest, and chalky stone rise gently from the glass, followed by a touch of smoke and almond. The palate is focused and lively, balancing crisp acidity with fine texture and a long, saline finish that reflects its rocky Jura terroir.
