The Sivi 2023 from Dario Prinčič is a benchmark orange Pinot Grigio — deep, textural, and unmistakably Friulian. One of the pioneers of skin-contact winemaking in Oslavia, Prinčič crafts wines that balance wild energy with soulful depth.
Made from 100% Pinot Grigio, the grapes undergo extended maceration on the skins, giving the wine its signature copper-orange hue and layered complexity. Fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts, followed by aging in old oak barrels. The result is a rich, structured wine with notes of dried apricot, orange peel, tea leaf, and gentle spice, framed by fine tannins and vibrant acidity.
