A cult favorite from Jean-Pierre Robinot’s estate Les Vignes de l’Ange Vin in the northern Loire, Cuvée Bistrologie captures the heart of what makes his wines so magnetic — depth, energy, and soulful drinkability.
Made from Pineau d’Aunis, one of the Loire’s most expressive native grapes, this wine is fermented naturally and aged slowly in old barrels in Robinot’s underground cellar. The result is a fragrant, feather-light red bursting with wild strawberries, white pepper, herbs, and subtle earthiness, balanced by bright acidity and silky tannins.
Bistrologie is both lively and contemplative — the kind of bottle that feels equally at home in a bistro or by candlelight.
