Il Postino 2023 by Colle Florido is an expressive white wine from the rolling hills of Abruzzo — pure, vibrant, and deeply connected to its place of origin.
Made entirely from Trebbiano, grown on clay- and limestone-rich soils around Pianella and Moscufo, the grapes are hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed, and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts. The wine then matures in a mix of stainless steel and old wooden barrels, preserving both freshness and texture.
In the glass, it shows pale gold with green reflections. The nose reveals citrus peel, white flowers, and wild herbs, while the palate is taut and saline, with lively acidity and a subtle chalky grip. Elegant yet full of energy, Il Postino captures the quiet authenticity of Abruzzo’s landscape and Colle Florido’s patient craftsmanship.
