The Sivi Pinot 2021 from Vina Šuman is a beautifully textured and honest expression of Pinot Gris (Sivi Pinot) from the rolling hills of eastern Slovenia. Fermented naturally on the skins, it bridges the gap between white and orange wine — vibrant, structured, and full of life.
Grown organically on marl and clay soils, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with extended skin contact, followed by aging in old oak barrels without filtration or additives. The result is a wine of depth and balance, showing layers of peach, dried orange peel, wild herbs, and gentle spice, with a softly tannic finish that invites another glass.
