Aromatic, textured orange wine from Burgenland — Traminer, Pinot Gris, and Welschriesling with 7 days of skin contact. Floral, tangy, and built for sharing.
Traminer, Pinot Gris, Welschriesling • Burgenland • Skin contact • 7 days maceration
The Mitchlits family runs Meinklang as a fully biodynamic farm in Pamhagen on the shores of the Neusiedlersee — vines, cattle, grains, and a brewery all operating in a closed circle. The Weißer Mulatschak is their most playful cuvée. Mulatschak is Austrian slang for party, and the wine earns the name: Traminer brings lychee, rose petal, and exotic spice; Pinot Gris adds body and soft stone fruit; Welschriesling keeps the whole thing fresh and bright. Seven days on the skins, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, unfiltered.
Hazy, aromatic, and impossible to put down.
