Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe farm their 17th-century estate in Oggau biodynamically — Demeter certified, no additions, no filtration. Winifred is the youngest in the Gut Oggau family, and she's dedicated: 35-year-old Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt vines on gravel and limestone near Lake Neusiedl, grown specifically for rosé rather than bled off from red production. One day of gentle maceration, spontaneous fermentation in large used oak barrels, 8 months on lees, bottled without filtration or added sulphur.
Fresh, mineral, and genuinely elegant.

Palate: red currant, lime, light tannic texture, lively acidity
