Doma means “home” in Slovak — and the 2022 vintage feels intimate, grounded, and full of quiet depth. The blend is precise: 50% Welschriesling, 30% Red Traminer, 10% Rhine Riesling, and 10% Red Sylvaner. Each variety was fermented separately on the skins for two weeks with stems in open vats before blending, allowing every grape to contribute its own voice.
After fermentation, the wine aged for 12 months in neutral acacia and oak barrels on fine lees, undergoing malolactic fermentation for a softer, rounder edge. The result is a golden-hued, aromatic, and textural orange wine that balances freshness with structure.
