La Barbacana (Red)
Coming from a century-old vineyard planted on slate, iron, and quartz at 650 meters elevation, La Barbacana is a remarkable wine made from 100% Alicante Bouschet. Fermented in chestnut vats with very short maceration, it’s bottled without fining, filtration, or added SO2, resulting in a wine of extraordinary purity, complexity, and length. Expect vibrant acidity, ample grip, and a profound depth that captures the essence of Bierzo’s landscape.

Un Rosé de Blancs (Red)
Diego Losado, the innovative winemaker from the renowned Bierzo region in north-west Spain, has crafted a truly unique and intriguing 'rosé'. However, this wine didn’t come about through the traditional method of short maceration with red grapes. Instead, it was discovered entirely by accident. Diego hand-harvested white grapes from 70 to 80-year-old Dona Blanca and Palomino vines and placed them in a vat that had previously been used for red wine. Forgetting to clean the vat, he left some residual must inside, which gave the wine its natural rosé color. Since then, Diego has embraced this distinctive process and continues to make the wine this way.
Grape: Doña Blanca, Palomino | Year: 2022 | Bottle Size: 75cl
Har Megiddo (Red)
Har Megiddo is Diego Losada’s latest deep dive into the soul of Bierzo. Sourced from a selection of old bush vines planted on slate and clay soils at 600–700 meters altitude, this cuvée is primarily Mencía, co-fermented with small amounts of local white and red varieties. Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in neutral oak, it sees minimal extraction and no manipulation. The result is an intensely floral, mineral-driven wine with layered red fruit, herbal lift, and fine tannins. Bottled without fining, filtration, or added SO₂.
Grape: Mencia & field blend | Year: 2024 | Bottle Size: 75cl
Each wine in this Triple Treat by Bodega La Senda reflects Diego Losada’s dedication to crafting wines that embody the authenticity and spirit of Bierzo, showcasing the region’s old-vine heritage and natural winemaking practices. Perfect for wine lovers seeking a bold and expressive taste of Spain.
