Riesling 2021

Riesling 2021 from PIRI Naturel is a beautifully crafted white wine by the up-and-coming winemaker Christine Pieroth, hailing from the Nahe region in Germany. This wine showcases Christine's dedication to natural winemaking and her innovative approach to the classic Riesling grape.

Made with semi-carbonic fermentation for a week, followed by gentle pressing, this wine then spent its final fermentation in old barriques and tonneaux. Aged on its full lees until bottling in June, it has developed a rich texture and complexity. The result is a wine with delicate floral aromas of white blossom, citrus zest, and subtle hints of petrol, which are characteristic of a high-quality Riesling.

On the palate, the Riesling 2021 offers a fresh and vibrant acidity, with flavors of green apple, lemon, and a touch of minerality that gives it a refreshing edge. The lees aging contributes a creamy mouthfeel and depth, enhancing the overall structure and adding a touch of richness to the finish.
