A Chardonnay that brings together two distinct terroirs with Patrick Bouju’s signature natural touch. CC L1 2022 is a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay from the volcanic basalt soils of the Gergovie plateau in Auvergne and the sun-soaked vineyards of southern Beaujolais.
Each half is vinified separately—one part aged in tank for freshness, the other in large foudres for extra depth—before being blended to create a wine that is vibrant, textured, and effortlessly drinkable. Bright citrus, white peach, and a touch of salinity meet a soft, rounded mouthfeel, making this a beautifully balanced expression of natural Chardonnay.
