This limited-edition bottle was created for the 25-year anniversary of Museumnacht Amsterdam, featuring a special label designed by @floorvanhetnederend in collaboration with Chenin Chenin x Museumnacht Amsterdam.
Cervell de Mas Perdut — Catalan for “brain” — represents the creative partnership of Rebeca and Josep Rosell, who set out to craft a light, expressive red from native Catalan grapes. The blend brings together 50% Malvasia de Sitges (an aromatic local white variety) with 25% Samsó (Carignan) and 25% Sumoll, a rustic indigenous red.
The Malvasia de Sitges receives 24 hours of skin contact, while the Sumoll and Samsó are co-fermented using carbonic maceration. After a short aging period in stainless steel and glass demijohns, the wine emerges bright and inviting, with fresh berry aromas, subtle spice, and white floral notes, finishing juicy, vibrant, and effortlessly drinkable.
