Orange wine from the Netherlands, made from four disease-resistant grape varieties and 25 days on the skins. Green apple, citrus, and a herbal edge, with light tannins and plenty of freshness.
Solaris, Souvignier Gris, Sauvignon Soyhières, Muscaris • Chaam • Skin contact • Unfiltered
Ron Langeveld and Monique van der Goes farm Wijngaard Dassemus biodynamically in Noord-Brabant, near Breda. They grow PIWI varieties, disease-resistant grapes that suit the Dutch climate. The name is a wink at Magritte, and the wine plays along: a white wine macerated for 25 days, which gives it its orange colour and a light tannic grip. Unfiltered, fresh, and easy to enjoy well chilled.
