Cervell de Mas Perdut, meaning "brain" in Catalan, embodies the collaboration between Rebeca and Josep Rosell, who share a vision of crafting a light red wine from indigenous red and white grape varieties. This blend features 50% Malvasia de Sitges, a local aromatic white grape, complemented by 25% Samsó (Catalan Carignan) and 25% Sumoll, a rustic native variety. The Malvasia de Sitges undergoes 24 hours of skin contact, while the Sumoll and Samsó are co-fermented carbonically. Aged briefly in stainless steel and glass demijohns, the wine dazzles with bright hues, fresh berry aromas, hints of spice, and white flowers, culminating in a juicy, quaffable finish.
